Surface Active Foam Fractionation (SAFF®) technology took out the Tech Tank People’s Choice Award within the ‘Liveability and Sustainability’ category at the Sydney Water Innovation Festival on 29 November 2022.

This was a very proud moment for the team, as we faced stiff competition from the best and brightest around the globe.

There were some tense moments in the lead up to the live event, with our President Peter Murphy stuck on the tarmac at a US airport, but come showtime, he and our Chief Scientist David Burns were a vision of cool and calm collectedness.

In addition to winning a handy $5,000 in seed funding to put towards our technology development, our participation also helps to spread the message about the wonders of EPOC’s Foam Fractionation in remediating PFAS contaminants.
