On 10 May 2023, EPOC Enviro’s SAFF technology took out the Waste 2023 Excellence in Innovation Award within the ‘Innovative Product or Technology’ category, at an awards ceremony at Coffs Harbour (NSW).

The Innovation Award was presented to our General Manager – Enviro, Jay Howland; and Chief Scientist, Dave Burns, on day one of the three-day waste conference.

The award submission focused on the many compelling features of SAFF PFAS remediation technology, including:

• heavy lifting abilities in landfill leachate waters with complex co-contaminants
• sustainable, nature based and green chemistry credentials
• Australian made, plug and play portability
• remote telemetry capabilities

The entire team is humbled by the win and energised for a better future where more ‘forever chemicals’ are permanently removed from the environment.
