The ITRC (Interstate Technology Regulatory Council) exists to address environmental challenges within the US and worldwide. It is a US based coalition with public and private sector membership from all 50 states as well as international agencies and academic representatives. Its purpose is to reduce barriers to using innovative environmental technologies so that compliance costs are reduced and clean-up efficacy is maximised. The ITRC produces documents and training that broaden technical knowledge and expedite quality regulatory decision making while protecting human health and the environment.
